Subscription and Refund Policy

UnlockFocus offers a Free tier and an optional Premium subscription. This page explains billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds.

Free vs Premium

  • Free gives you the core experience — blocking, learning goals, notes, on-device quizzes and more — with some limits (for example, on AI quizzes, photo scans, notes and daily focus sessions).
  • Premium raises or removes those limits and unlocks the full experience.

The exact features and prices are always shown in the app before you purchase, in your local currency.

Billing through Apple

All subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple App Store account, under Apple’s standard rules:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • If offered, a free trial’s unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

We do not receive or store your card details.

Managing or cancelling

You control your subscription in iOS:

Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → UnlockFocus

There you can change plan, or cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases in the app (or Settings) to restore an active subscription tied to your Apple ID.

Refunds

Because billing is handled by Apple, refunds are requested from Apple, not from us:

  • Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find UnlockFocus, and request a refund.
  • Apple decides refunds under its own policies and your statutory rights.

If you are a UK/EU consumer, you may have statutory cancellation and refund rights. Digital content bought through the App Store is subject to Apple’s terms and your local consumer law. If something isn’t working, contact us first at cloudpilarapps@gmail.com — we’re happy to help.

Price changes

We may change prices or plan features. Changes apply to future billing periods, and where required we (or Apple) will notify you and ask for consent before a renewal at a higher price.

Deleting your account

Deleting your UnlockFocus account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in iOS Subscriptions (see above).
